Constitutional Amendments

There are many Constitutional Amendments that have been carried out throughout the years. These Constitutional Amendments have been recorded for the duty of either adding, deleting a portion of the United States Constitution. Each Constitutional Amendment has served of high importance to the rights and freedoms that we have today. Every Constitutional Amendment affects us all in one way or another. The Constitutional Amendments took place in an effort to see to it that we continue to work to perfect the state of the nation and its governing policies. Each Constitutional Amendment may contain a different ordinance, but that was the intention that was in mind. Every Constitutional Amendment may have had different initiations. A Constitutional Amendment can be enforced on a national level, but a Constitutional Amendment can also be enforced on a state level, as well. Likewise, the Constitutional Amendments are composed in that same fashion. Although there is an extensive process that goes into executing Constitutional Amendments, they are still carried out. These Constitutional Amendments are usually sought after when there is an overwhelming response by the people to initiate such changes before it may even ensue the process that is necessary to get these changes rectified.

1. Each Constitutional Amendment has a distinct purpose, but one of the greatest Constitutional Amendments came not too long after the United States Constitution was first composed. That is the Constitutional Amendment that proclaimed our rights to the freedom of religion, speech, of the press, to assemble, and to petition. This Constitutional Amendment is called the First Amendment. This Constitutional Amendment is the one in which defines the Constitutional rights that everyone refers to the most.

2. Another very important Constitutional Amendment that serves of large importance to many are the Constitutional rights that are proclaimed in the Fifth Amendment. This is one of the Constitutional Amendments in which the rights between the government and the people are defined. This is one of the Constitutional Amendments that clearly defines the procedures that civilians and civil authorities will have. The Fifth Constitutional Amendment is the amendment in which you are explained the rights that you have in regards to the legal system. From the moment that you are brought into legal/ police custody, you never loose your rights. Instead, there are a new set of rights that you have that apply in addition to the ones that you have obtained by way of the First Amendment. And these rights are the way in which the civil authorities and you have in your dealings
